My first truck, frame off restro. 1972 gmc
 

:hiya::new:When I was 13 I bought a 72 :gmc2: long bed, orange with white stripes. Now me and my dad are doing a complete frame off restoration. I will adds pics later, and tips are welcome. Yesterday got the frame painted with POR15 :metal:

we took it apart then lost intrest, but have started putting it back together now. hers some pictures.

cool truck, man......i love the color and the floor is in pretty decent shape. i hope my son wants to build my 67 with me, when he is 16. i have it waiting on him. it's great to see your father/son build on its way...from the looks of your pics, its gonna be awesome when you get finished! keep at it, it will be worth it

ThanKs! and I like the color too, Were going to repaint it the same. And the floors were pretty good, but we put in new ones just to be safe :lol:

yeah I will and that stuff doesnt come off at all. Got the floor welded up and a fender finished.

got the front fenders painted and put on finally! inside of cab and dash are also painted. Wiring from the cab to the motor is a pain in the a$$, should have marked the wires better...
