chevy 235 operating temp

Hey all, I moved to Hollister today and I drove my truck from San Jose. I was driving today and my truck seemed to be running a little hot for my taste. The temp outside while driving was about 96+ and the temp of the truck was 195-210ish. Does this seem a little hot or is this normal? Thanks :smoke:

ive been told that it might be normal for them to run in the 200's but im not sure, ....... here in Texas my 230 runs at around 210-230 and for me it wont run normal unless its hot without the temp being from 180-210 it misfires and stalls alot

Thank for the reply, I'm just paranoid about overheating. I have a re-cored radiator, new thermostat, electric fan, new water pump and I was just getting worried while driving.
Thanks
