I guess I didn't realize there was more than 1 style blazer rock guard, not sure what year they were from.

Let me do some research on the rock guards. The 71 I have has a longer guard that attaches to the bumper brackets. My 72 frame is longer and the bumper bolts directly to the frame. I think the guards you have are what I need for my 72.

The guards are definitely '72 only guards.
