Transmission lines
I'm using stock 4L60 lines and they are 3/8". It appears the fittings in the radiator are for 5/16". Any simple way to do this? Does someone make a nut for the 5/16" tube hole that I can flare on the 3/8" tubing? I read that the radiator thread is 1/2"- 20. It's getting close to Cruisin The Coast and we want to make it but these small things keep holding up the show.

Thanks for the information I wound up flaring the 3/8" a little bit, slipping the 5/16" inside and welding it. I didn't want to wait on parts and I was able to keep the factory flex hose on it and made my splice right at the radiator so it looks almost OEM.

As long as it seals....
But if you weld the nut on, how do you tighten without being able to spin the nut? |

Not welding the nut, just slipping the smaller tubing inside the larger and welding it a inch or so back from the nut.

Makes a bit more sense I guess, but you still might want to keep an eye on it tho; I'd think you may still run the risk of cavitation.
