Need some help

Just wondering what you guys think the best way to fix this rusted area?
It's a 1952 GMC 3 window. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

I'd try to buy a section of roof with the piece you need from someone with extra cabs. Surely someone has a extra cab for patch panels.

its not as bad as it looks bud, cut the bad parts out one at a time an stay off the radiuses an put another piece of metal in there an weld it up, looks like u would have 3 sections to fix

Check out my build thread, I did a similar repair to mine but it was on the bottom of the windshield. I bought a Harbor Freight stretcher/shrinker combo and used that to make the pieces. It's really not too bad, just do it in several pieces so you don't get overwhelmed.

Re: Need some help

either method will work equally well. finding a section of roof that could be trimmed to fit and doing the cut and replace thing would be the simpler way. forming your own pieces may be a lot more satisfying in the long run but will take a lot more time and effort to get right.
