What axle was that crossover steering used on? I may be interested depending on the application. Also, what kind of shape are the Tie Rod Ends in?

Extra info:

That transfer case appears to be an NP208 that came off of a 700R4, for those looking.

Also, the power steering box looks like it's a 2WD box tapped for hydro assist steering, which is great for larger tires and crossover steering. Again, extra info for those looking.

You might have better luck in the regular parts boards, as only those of us with the blazer/burb sickness poke around in here. I did read your build thread and it looks good!

I have never used the fuel pump. It came in the box with the Blazer I bought from Kurt Lindner (VT Blazer). I'm going to carburate the motor so I don't need it. I looks to be in great shape.

Hey thanks for all the info and sorry I'm slow to respond. Crossover steering arm was on a Dana 60. Tie rod ends look OK, but not great.

How sure are you about the t-case and steering box? I'm clueless on those two items.

Re: First Gen. Blazer Parts

I'll have to pass on the crossover arm, I'm running a Dodge D60 and after research that won't work for me.

As for the transfer case, you can tell by the outer bolts that it isn't an NP205 or Rockwell. I recognized it as an NP208 from time spend under a friend's truck and a quick image search shows that the adapter is for a 700R4 and not a T350 adapter. It would be a good transfer case for a daily driver as it is a chain driven aluminum case (a little weaker) but the ability to put it behind an overdrive automatic makes up for it.

The steering gear, those extra hoses in the end cap and cover are to hook up an additional ram for more steering power with bigger tires. Judging by the pitman arm and the fact that it was used for crossover steering it would be a 2WD box. It would be desirable to off-road guys with bigger tires and more weight to push around. You can tell what year range it's from by looking into the hookup for the stock hoses for an o-ring or flare seal. Flare is early, o-ring is later (switched sometime mid 70s?) and the mounting of the boxes is the same. Condensed: 2WD box for crossover steering tapped for hydro assist with (o-ring/flare).

--My two cents: hopefully this will help you sell them quicker and for what they're worth. --
