I saw that too.. 25 miles from me. I'm not sure that I have seen one in person.

Here is a 68 not far from me. I saw it when I bought some misc parts from the seller. It is in decent shape, a lot of "old man" repairs to be undone.

Ok, I get that it's rare. I want to know where he invested the 3000 in that truck- a box under the seat?

If they were both closer to me I would buy both of them in a heart beat.

Great finds. Our local funeral parlor sod there's last year. It was the first vehicle from when the business started in '68,used as a transport vehicle. It's a good example of one in excellent condition.

I would have been real interested in that truck if I would have known it was for sale. When I was 10 years old I worked out of a 59 Chev Panel truck delivering groceries. Until they started making vans in the early 70's all that was available for light delivery trucks were panels like this one.

Tim,
I actually talked with this guy about that panel several times and could not get them to answer any questions or send any photo's of other than what was originally posted. I would love to have had the truck but since they would not cooperate with the questions or more pictures I chalked it up as a Craigs scam. I am thinking I was still right since you say it sold last year. I am pretty sure it was around Feb of this year when I was talking with them thru Craigs.

I got the same feeling about a GMC suburban over that way as well. Guy wont give me address or specifics and it has been on there over a year.

Re: Rare 67 on Craigslist in Kansas

They always kept it inside except when Mr. Burrier was doing woodwork (his pastime) in the building. I have stopped numerous times over the years to talk about it and take pictures. Even attended a coupe funerals there and they recognized me as the guy interested in the panel. I was under the impression he would never sell it,but had asked (numerous times) to be put at the top of the list. Over the years there became a lost of people who asked to know when it ever sold. I was told I was the first to ever ask,had asked the most, and at the front of the list. Then,to my surprise,I see it on Craigslist. I think Greg had asked me to check into it as well as another member and I tried but had no luck. I think they were overwhelmed with interest. They should have just let me know and save themselves a lot of hassle .
