76 Chevy sport
 

I need a little help guys . A family member has a Chevy sport I'm assuming a 76 because it was red white and blue. Short wide 4x4 white with stripes it also had a roll bar that I thought might have been part of the package . Anybody know anything or have any pics? I've googled it and found nothin. Any info would be appreciated

All the 76 chevy sports were stepsides...

Available in black,orange,blue,red

All with white stripes

Do you have a serial # and/or pictures

If it had a factory roll bar it is a 1977 sport

It's definitely a wide box it may be 77 I guessed 76 because of the color combo. I believe he bought it new off the lot I'll ask my wife if she has a pic it is her uncles truck but it is one off the first trucks that really stuck out to me when I was a kid I would have been 4 yrs old in 77 and can remember the truck from when I was probably 6 or 7. That truck in the add is what I found when I was searching online.

Sounds like a Spirit of 76 edition. Is the seat red white and blue?

I googled 1977 sport and found one that was close but it is black with blue stripes and the roll bar. I googled the spirit of 76 that is a gmc and way cooler with a break up stripe on the side . But on that search I found what I believe to be one and someone was questioning wether or not it was a spirit of 76 it is clapped out in a field

They had Chevys too. Seems like the seat is the most noticable factor on them.
