New door glass and vent window install ??
 

I have all new glass to get installed in my 72 GMC after paint this weekend. Should I let a pro do it or can I handle it? I have read about the rivets in the vent window and considered ordering the new rivets from www.classicparts.com. How do I replace the side glass in the tracks? I also have new regulators to install. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.

I'm getting ready to do the same thing. Do a search for "sash window" and all kinds of good info pops up. GL

sash window. Ive been searching side glass and door glass, and checking the FAQ section and not getting much. Thx.

Just changed out my driver side regulator today. It was a fairly easy job. Parts were from Classic Parts of America.

Wish I would of changed out the locking mechanisms while I was there.

OK. I'm sure I can do the door glass by myself. I'm just a little unsure of the vent windows.
