Truck 4.8L v8 + LS1 4l60e?
 

Hey folks,
I'm looking for a transmission to match up to my 2001 4.8 liter v8. Found a line on a cheap low mileage 4l60E from a 98 or 99 F-body with LS1.
Will this match up, or will I need custom / additional parts?
Just need to be sure before I open my wallet - I *really* don't want any surprises along the way...

They are EXACTLY the same except for 2 things....

The shift shaft is shorter than a truck shift shaft, If not using a truck neutral safety switch it doesnt matter.

The tail housing is set-up for a torque arm mount....Again, doesnt matter.

Awesome. I'll buy the trans complete with NSS etc and, why not, add a torque arm mount to the truck when I install it.
