I finally got enough time to work on the 68' 4 bolt main 350 I have. I pulled the valve covers off and found a good bit of rust in the heads....I am wondering if its worth getting the heads ported and polished or just getting a set of aluminum heads. I can get the edlebrock performer heads with valves and springs for $450, any advice would be great!

depending on the heads if they are original 68 heads they do not have hardened exhaust seats and the unleaded crap gas we have now will wear the seats in a fairly short time so if i could get the edelbrocks for the great deal of 450.00 i would jump on them quick
