tech question
wazup I'm new here I drive a 79 shortbed stepside chevy truck with a 350/TH400
can eny of yall tell me if the front end (front cross member A-frames coils etc.) out of a 1984 suburban will fit in a 1979 chevy truck both are 1/2 ton trucks with 5 lugs......Thanx:bowtie: |
Yep.
|
Well that was a short answer! Not many parts have changed from 73-87 (plus 73-91 Suburban and Blazer). Welcome to the group!

Si,
Welcome to the board. Is your truck wrecked? I'll be using some A-arms off a Suburban on my truck. This will help save time on the rebuild. One of truck's A-arms is beyond repair anyway. |
no the truck is not wrecked but the A- frames are bent and the cross member is cracking and a friend gave me these parts for free out of a 84 suburban just wanted to make sure that they would inter change before I tore it apart......thanx for replying
|
I know that they would inter change in a truck just was not sure about a suburban to a truck
|
Welcome! I moved from Hurst to North Richland Hills about a year ago. :)
Do you have pics of your truck? Yep, suburbans and trucks are the same as far as front-end goes. |
Didn't mean to sound rude. Wanted to answer your question, but was in the middle of something else, although it was a little short wasn't it?
Welcome to our little world. Mike |
