WTB pinion gear for 1/2 ton 3:73
 

I am in a pinch. I have someone interested in buying my 72 1/2 ton w/ 3:73's and I have a broken pinion. Missing two hunks off of it. Ring gear looks fine and I cant see anything else broken, Never seen one do it in 40 some odd trucks!!! Sounded like a big bang and I thought I hit something on the road. Can you believe I was 200 yards from my house and still wouldnt have even known what it was except the ring gear shot the piece of the pinion into the rear diff cover and it poked a little hole in it leaving a trail of gear lube across the driveway and ito the garage. Argggggg!

We have an old rearend that was under our project when we got it, not sure on the gear ratio will have to do some investigating, would it matter if it is an orginal 6 lug or not?
