Re: wheel width ?

i got a cab and chassis so i got duals under the bed and dually rims are 6" wide so i would say 12" to 15" wide but you will have to figure out the back space. just take a wheel off use a straight edge on the wheel mounting sirface and use a tape mesure and mesure from the springs to the straight edge that should get you close to the backspace. i would also hang a plumbob on the bedside so you can mesure how wide it too wide lol

lets say your getting a 15dx12w wheel and you use a Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R Tire size is 29 x 15.00-15 the Section Width of the tire is close to 15 depending on the wheel you use. so you can see the tire is 3" wider then the wheel so you subtract 1.5" from the backspace and the tire will be right on the springs. subtract another inch or 2 it will get the tire off the springs enough to be safe but you will have to tub the bed atleast 4" to 5" to clear the tire.

keep in mind that subtracting from the backspace will change your offset and the wheel and tire will move out from under the bed and depending on your state law tire stick out might be a no no.

hope this helps
