Coil Spring Booster
Has anyone used these before? http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...d=coil+spacers
Do you think they would work ok? Planning on using it for lift, maybe lowering. I figure these are better than the rubber ones. Thanks in advance :metal: |
Re: Coil Spring Booster
Yikes! I wouldn't go near those things. Forcing a spring open (or closed) by a single point like those will cause huge stress points on the coil. I think you would be better off doing the lift or lower properly, with the proper springs, shocks, spindles, etc.

Re: Coil Spring Booster
Those are crap and potentially dangerous. They can break under stress and throw you into another lane or oncoming traffic. If you want to lift or lower your truck do it the right way and keep yourself and others on the road safe.

exactly what was said so eloquently above

Re: Coil Spring Booster
Didn't even think about them breaking or anything, that would be pretty bad. I feel like they shouldn't even sell these if they could cause that much damage. Thanks for steering me away from them!
