What over the counter EFI fuel filter?

I am running a returnless style system and I'm looking for a simple canister style fuel filter for EFI. My fuel pressure regulator is in my factory fuel pump module, so I just need a low pressure dop filter. I plan on using some 3/8 fuel line in 5 foot sections from the local parts store that has ends on it already and put the filter in line at one of the breaks in the fuel line...

OE style... but should have a female 3/8 on each end....

Plan B is a nice Aeromotive canister filter but is big bucks.... # 12317

Wait, what regulator on the pump? Which style pump are you using that has a regulator built in?
If your running returnless, the vette regulator would also be the filter, unless you'd want more protection than that.

the fuel pump is from a 2005 Denali and has the regulator built in... GM# 19167467 or FG0340

The fuel filter is also built into the module.

If you want to put a filter in line, you could use an AC Delco GF481 (or the Wix equivalent 33481), but you won't be able to use the double flare that comes on the metal line, fuel injection filters use O ring fittings. There are filters that use double flare, but generally are not rated for the high pressure of a MPFI system, and would probably blow apart internally, not what you want to happen.
