Shocks for an '88 V10 Burb
It has come to my attention that the shocks on the Burb need replaced and I have ran into a few problems;
1) Every vehicle I have owned before was MacPhereson Strut so I have no idea what brands of shocks are worthwhile and what ones are :bsf: 2) I need to know if having the dual front shocks, factory mount style, makes a difference as to what shocks I need 3) I required resuscitation after seeing price quotes at the parts store due to an acute case of sticker shock :jdp: So essentially I'm wanting to know what yal are using on your Burbs and what you think of them? Thank You in advance for any and all input |

I have got the parts ordered and will be getting the Monroe Sensa-Tracs... It may already have them on it, but since I'm not the original purchaser I can't claim the warranty. But at least getting the Monroes front and back is a lot more affordable than my other options. |

Re: Shocks for an '88 V10 Burb
Got the Sensa Tracs, got them installed and just got in my rebate for the 4 for the price of 3 deal... didn't find out about it until I went in store.
Also, surprise surprise the Burb rode a "little" rough because the shocks that were meant for a 1-ton truck and not a 1/2 ton :O ! |
Re: Shocks for an '88 V10 Burb
That's crazy. Are they going to let you swap them out???
