rear shocks ???
 

I am almost to the point of reassembling the rear suspension. This has led to buying the last pieces... shocks.

I was thinking about monroe ma747 air shocks or 59001 regular shocks.

Has anyone used these on a 66 c10?

I would like opinions and experiences with different shocks to help decide this week.

don't buy air shocks. i have them on the back of my 64 gmc and it is a terrible ride. every time you hit a bump the front is fine and then you get a jarring bump from the rear.just my 2 cents

Have you lowered your suspension....? that will make a differance.

i have a 65 with 5+inch rear drop and run air shocks so i can bump up the hight when i wanna haul my harley or firewood, i dont have a problem at all with em, the trick is to run one air line to each shock and not a "T" piece otherwise air moves from one shock to another on uneven roads. but if you dont really need air shocks id just go with a normal set imo.
