Yeah I guess that would help  It's a 15" wheel and approximately 4 1/2" deep. Brushed stainless spokes.

Am I missing something?.....Are the wood steering wheels a look that people aren't going for these days? Have the popularity passed?

I will take it with the kit if it gets to me. If not would be interested in the adapter kit.

Well for me I have absolutely no other wood accents in my truck so I think a black comfort grip wheel will go better with my interior. I bought this wheel with evey intention of using it but it just looks out of place next to my interior, which is to bad cause I really like the wheel. I even though about staining the wood black.

Shawn please PM me some info (manufacturer, kit number, etc.) maybe I can find one on eBay. I don't remember ever seeing one of these with a brushed center and horn cap. Would really like one for my retro Camaro project. :whine:

Thanks,

Shawn - you should really avoid PM sales. It really creates confusion and animosity for people that post in the thread. I was interested and asked questions, but never got a chance to respond prior to you posting it being sold....

Let me know Shawn .. If you want one like mine, I'll fix you up. It's the best repro I have ever seen.

It's either $210 or $220 .. something like that. I pretty much get them at cost, or you can call Lynn at Chevy World parts in Bryant AL. Tell him Chad (or Wayne) Coley sent you and he needs to do another swap meet soon. :D

Pay no attention to the prices .. if you know what I mean. If you'd rather I call him, I know I can do 10% off this price $211 after taxes, etc. Then shipping.

If I can get a group buy going I will be happy to coordinate it and maybe get a better deal per wheel / kit. Again, I'm not sure where he is getting them but they are some of the nicest re-pro wheels I have ever found. Why spend $150 on a used one that's worn smooth across the top or sticky ?

If I call him and tell him I'll take 10 ?? I'm sure the price will go down.. I'd have to call to see just how much. I know him personally, 25+ yr friend.

Re: Vintage wood steering wheel

I will have to pass I just spent the truck budget for the month on other goodies (RV stuff is expensive when your gutting it ). Also committed to another local member to buy his bucket seats (RV again) before I can pull the trigger on these CG steering wheels. Perhaps I could get in on round 2 Chad? Need a black wheel for the RV and a flame red (68 interior red) for the pickup if they make that. If not it would be 2 black. I'll let you guys know when I'm ready.

Thanks,
