Chevy Wrench 05-28-2003 11:56 PM

What are the specs on the bags? ie: port size, single or double convoluted. Any pics?

73Stepside-I'm not sure off hand what teh casting numbers are, but I believe if my memory serves me right the heads are from 74' and have 2.02 intake valves and are a heavy casting(no cracks etc)

ChevyWrench-The bags have a 3/8 port, they are sleeved bags...I'll attach a pic(theya re teh bags on the left), you can find them on www.ridetech.com under catalog.

Thanks,
Kenny

can you get some pic's of the heads, showing the valves and the casting numbers?

PrimeredThunder 05-29-2003 10:42 AM

I can get a pic and stuff later tonite, but I'm not at home right now, and I dont know the numbers right off hand.

Old Chevy Lover 05-29-2003 10:44 AM

that's cool.. right off hand, do you know how bad of shape they are in? are they complete (springs, etc,etc..)?

PrimeredThunder 05-29-2003 11:14 AM

The heads are complete, I pulled them off the sbc in my 72' when I rebuilt it last summer. They ran but one of the valves got over-adjusted by the previous ower and got mushroomed out a bit above the retainer. They need rebuilt and they should be good to go. Pics will show a lot more than my words can.
Thanks

If you want, you can send the pic's to my email when you get them, commagic@bright.net
