What are the best shop manuals (complete information ) for my truck.

On past /current vehicles I owned I have purchased Factory manual as well as aftermarket publishers.

I am looking for recommendations/ vendors , all advice appreciated :mm:

When I was buying fleet vehicles (new 1994~ 2009) the mechanics would ask for Fac shop manuals, at the end I was paying $,1000.00 for printed versions. MFG"s were pushing E-versions hard.

GM used Helm Inc. publishers for their service manuals and they are the best... most of the early stuff for our trucks is out of print.
Sometimes Ebay has used manuals for a decent price.

There are typically three manuals in a full set. GM Light Truck Service, GM Light Truck Unit Repair, and GM Light Truck Wiring.

If you need the wiring manual right now look here http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=545416 I'd recommend buying a shop worn copy eventually but the electronic copy is handy for instant gratification.

Rockauto has some shop manuals for real cheap. Might try them. No its not chiltons or something its the actual shop manual. They have em for my 87.
