Shorting Cargo lights and reverse lights together
 

I want my reverse lights to come on with my cargo light switch and vise versa with the cargo lights. I've read that the reverse wire is the light green wire going into the BCM, but does anyone know where I could tap into the cargo light circuit? Also, does anyone know if that would cause any adverse effects applying power to the reverse circuit while not in reverse?

Truck is a 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD CCSB Duramax 4x4.
