2013 Truck Calendar Poll
 

Sorry for the delay guys. My work got in the way of these SWEET trucks and their calendar poll.

After the poll is complete, a link will be posted here to purchase the calendar. So subscribe to stay current.

IF YOU ARE NOMINATED PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFO THOROUGHLY, AND SUBSCRIBE TO THIS THREAD TO STAY UP TO DATE ON YOUR STATUS If you nominated someone, PLEASE send them a PM, so they will be following along.

If you (or another member) submitted multiple photos, I narrowed it to one. Probably the one that I thought would look unique on a calendar. I don't wanna hear "You picked the wrong one"; this is just the way it worked out.

IMPORTANT: Regarding the voting... vote for AS MANY as you like. (I think that's how I set it up) vote for your favorites, but please dont vote for all- that will kinda defeat the purpose. But, you don't JUST have to vote for "the ONE" truck you want to win. There will be 12 trucks on the calendar, so we dont need one truck getting the most votes. It will be based on the twelve trucks that get the most votes. If someone backs out or cannot provide the photo and the information needed in a timely matter, a second chance poll will be posted from the members who submitted after the 30 truck poll cutoff.

NOW... here is the part I feel bad about. There will only be 12 months on this calendar. (period) These are a lot of work. SO, if you don't make the 12 truck cut, it's no big deal. I will do another one next year. Just start thinking about a few cool camera angles to capture a good view of your truck. The truth is, I will need those trucks next year, otherwise it will be a boring "repeat" calendar. Just stay active on the forum. AND... if you make the top 12 this year, you will be ineligible next year. (unless you make MAJOR changes to the truck)

ALSO IMPORTANT: The poll ends around 10/15/12. I will post the winners on this thread. It is your responsibility to get me YOUR info in a timely manner. (10/20/12 at the latest)

Here is what I need from you:

Name (I also need to know if you want your first AND last name listed or just your first)
City, State
Truck stats: year, make, model, package
AND... I need the original photo emailed to me in an attachment. I cannot copy and paste or save the one from the board, because the resolution has been lowered.

If I do not receive the necessary info by 10/20/12, I will use one of the alternates from the second chance poll. I know I seem hardcore, but these are a LOT of work. I can't be taking the time to chase down your info. Therefore, it is your responsibility to follow the thread after 10/15 to see if you made the cut AND follow up with your info. And I will say that on previous calendar polls, I have had to resort to using alternates.

I need the truck info AND the original high-resolution photos emailed to me at j.goddard@mdtesting.com If you feel your truck is doing well in the poll, and you are fairly confident you will make the cut, you can send the info immediately.

I am not making guesses on the year of your truck either if you didn't post it. We all know that quite a few of our trucks have newer/older clips and even brand's. You can add it below if you wish.

Toughest vote of all of the calendars I've ever done. I had to vote for 12 and still was torn.

The link will be posted in this thread, hopefully by the 20th of Oct. it all depends on how quick guys get me their info. To give you an idea of what a calendar looks like, here is a link to the one I did for the 73-87 guys

This calender is what is going motivate a bunch of use to get our trucks up to par. Hopefully one day I can get mine on one. It is hard to choose, I can tell you all that.

As of right now, if you have 25 or more votes, then you are a serious contender for a calendar spot. So, get those photos and info emailed to me so we can get this thing done quick. And it appears to be a tight race for the 12th spot, so if you haven't voted, get it done!

Once the thread is complete, you can buy your calendars from a link that will be posted here. I try to stay out of the "buying" process, because I dont want people to think I am making a profit on them. If we generate a profit on the calendars, the profits will go to the board. If there is a large number of people who dont feel comfortable using their credit card for the calendar, I may organize a group buy for the actual cost of the calendar+shipping to me + shipping from me to you.
