How many M1028a2 dually trucks were made?
 

I see alot of regular long beds around but not too many dually trucks that were military. Just curious. They seem to be pretty rare for the most part.

None. M1028a2s are converted M1031s or M1028a1s and have the NP205, M1028a3s are converted M1028s and have the NP208. They were all conversions by the military. And they're relatively rare. I currently have this one. Check out www.steelsoldiers.com

You must save the same kind of pics that I do! BTW that 82 GMC is NOT a CUCV dually. Looks like a C & C too.

I know it is a chassis cab but, was neat enough to include. I have a lot of pics of that one including inside. I was bidding on it but, someone wanted it more than me. :(

This might be a stupid question but where does one buy these from. Do they come from like a surplus sale. Other than finding them on ebay or something I wouldn't know where to look.

Also the C&C dump is pretty much the same as my C&C without the dump body.

Where to buy? GSA, Government Liquidators, State and Municipal auctions, County auctions, on site auctions, private sales, etc. Have to think outside the box, everyone looks at the obvious ones like the GSA and GL sites. Prices seem to go awry when you can use a credit card for payment.
