Re: metal clutch deletes also a couple plastic ones

Hello Randy,
In the engine bay of my GMC Longhorn right off of the driver side valve cover I have a 2 inch diameter type hole. I have a used gasket type tubular assembly for it like the one on my Chevy Longhorn I have with Manual Transmission, but the GMC is a automatic. Does this cover go to this area or spot? I do not see any screw holes on my GMC around the hole, but that can be fixed. I have been looking for what covers this up for a very longtime. Let me know?

Billy, yours probably came with a plastic one, some of the early ones did. The spot your talking about sounds like the clutch rod hole. Thanks Randy

Hey Billy,
Sounds like Randy has some of the plastic ones too, I thought he just had the metal ones in the picture. I would never try and step in on a sale so I would prefer if you work out a deal with him :chevy:

Hello Randy, MAHANIAN,
I am sorry I miss understood, did you have some plastic ones available Randy? Sure I would love to get one from you if so. This goes to show even as much as I have worked on these things, I did not know what goes in that Clutch hole.
Thanks to the other gentleman (MAHANIAN) for helping out. You both are good people on here. I can buy one from both of you, it is no problem.

Hey Randy, Looks like you have quite the pile of clutch delete plates there !
I bought one off the board last year and now that I am in the process of changing over from sm465/np205 to a 350TH/np205 do you think I can find my "stashed it for later use" hidey hole ?:waah: If I don't find it by this week-end put me down for a metal one for sure. Doubt that you need anything with as many trucks as you part but I sure do like "hoss tradin" if and when at all possible. Let me know, Gary B.

Randy, finally found the clutch delete I was looking for. Boy, do I need to get my stuff organized, really like the way you have your "stuff" shelved and seperated as you do. I'm jealous,

Hello Randy,
I recieved the part and it looks great, as always thanks for hookin up a board brother. I apoligize for the late reply, I have been in NM for two weeks. Food for thought, if you come across a smaller frame bar that mounts with two bolts, one each side that is installed right above the spare tire on the outside of the frame, let me know, I need one, mine is severly bent and welded on. Till next time my friend.
