radio install prices

Who has the best prices on installing radios around here? Best Buy doesn't sound to bad but they tack on another 40 bucks to cut the dash.

Try best Buy or Car toys.

Do it yourself. Its not hard at all. Or do what I did and install a am fm cd with wireless remote controll under the seat. Radio was only 100 bucks. Not a thumper but hell I'm not either. I'm not as good as I once was but I'm good once as I ever was. LOL

DIY! I've done it on 2 of my cars and now my truck, it's fun, and you learn about car stereos. Even have your buddies come help, give them food and pop (or beer). We once had a car stereo party ( I know, sounds lame, but it isn't ) and installed maybe 4 head units, a cd changer, a couple of amps, some subwoofers, and a ton of speakers in various cars.

Go to audio plus on Broadway. They did mine for 40$ bucks I think.

Its amazingly simple to do these days, at one point you might have been able to get off telling me that it is complicated, but honestly, you get a color coded wiring harness that plugs into the back of your new deck... I have my buddies bring their cars or trucks to me to install their systems, unless we are building subwoofer boxes, it takes prehaps 20 minutes to install the head unit and replace all the speakers, and thats on a hard install job...

DIY! Just cut the dash with a sawsall type tool :)
