64 C20 Please Help

I currently own a 64C 20 pick up long bed with a large back window. I have found an ad to pick up a 64 C 10 with a small back window and about $1600 worth of parts like chrome bumper both rubbers for door seals window seals, chrome grille tail light assembly kit front bumper bracket ect. It also comes with a 64 C10 truck. Body is in decent shape. It has an engine and tranny but it has been pulled out. Its missing drivers door. This all comes for a price of $1200. My question to you is it worth picking up to restore my old 64 Chevy or would it be better out to buy one?

So is it two '64 trucks, or one cab and one complete truck? Two complete trucks, yeah it's probably worth it. Just a cab and another truck, I'd try for a bit less myself, but if you've got room to store it and there's plenty of stuff you need or can use, then go for it. I like having "junk" laying around because invariably I need a screw, bracket, or something that's not readily available and it's real handy just to go pull one of my parts truck. The time not spent searching for the oddball stuff is worth quite a bit to me. You can always sell some of the things you don't need and get a bit of your money back.

Yes, mine is complete needing to be restored. This other one is complete with engine and tranny there but removed and without windows. Motor is a 283. Parts include Oak wood kit, ss strips for it, front and Back bumper, grile, crome headlight housing new headlights, and weather striping for the whole truck.

The one you have or the one you're buying? Hard to say without seeing them. A lot also depends on your skill level and/or ability to learn and desire to do so. A lot is also your point of view. There's not much that I think is totally gone, but someone in the southwest might junk what I currently drive.
