Anyone use Rust Bullet? Want to coat my cab floor...

Finally got all of the old fuzz and glue off my cab floor and wanting to coat and protect the floor from rust before I put down my dynamat and new carpet.

Anyone ever used rust bullet before? Seems pretty nice and reasonably priced compared to POR-15.

Thoughts? Or a different/better thing to use let me know. I just want to protect the cab before I carpet it and forget about it.

Thanks for your time.

I always thought that I would do the same thing but lately I've been concerned about eventual rust just eating the floor and having no way of knowing its there until its real bad, but maybe I'm wrong. Thing is I'm on the west coast and its salty and rust loves to eat these trucks.

I used it when I built my new lawn mower deck for my Kubota. Worked good for me...

used it on all my trucks. Works great. Just get rid of the big chunks of rust and paint over the rest.

Fortunately my floor doesn't have any rust because its an AZ truck but I want to keep it that way. It will ease my mind knowing I at least tried some type of rust inhibitor. I'll get a pic up today so u can see the floor.

I think my biggest concern is the rocker panels for me and anywhere else there is double walling where moisture and condensation can get trapped.

Heres the floor at 80% cleaned besides infront of the drivers side. Paint is original on the floor and in really good shape, thats why I don't want any probs in the future. I also read today that Rust Bullet makes a clear rust inhibitor as well, might be better than the black...

Rust Bullet is the ONLY Rust inhibitor I've EVER used or will use. Metal soaks this stuff up and you can sand it and paint it with NO problems.
100% Better the por-15.

Can't say enough GOOD things about this product.:metal:

I used it on my frame, it goes on thick but, works well. Beat on it with a hammer it does not care however, you wont get the shiny smooth finish like POR.
