New to the site and thanks for the opportunity to see and get ideas about building/rebuilding my 67 C10. I've owned the truck for near 10 years and never driven it more than around the block a time or two. I would describe the truck as truely unmolested with all original trim and extremely solid as it has all the original body panels even the original rockers if that tells you how solid the truck is. When I purchased the truck I was lucky enough to get the POP,buildsheet and sales invoice where the original owner purchased the truck in Boaz,AL. After a little research I was able to track down the original owner and discuss the truck with him. There have been a few things I added to the truck as far as options go and it was missing the 2 speed and 283 when I purchased it. It now has a 69 model 35o with a TH350 trans. I added a buddy bucket seat, tilt column and tach dash along with a cd player since someone had previously cut the radio area out of the dash. I'm such a perfectionist that I can't finish the truck so that it meets my standards and now debating on buying another SWB frame and setting it up with a late model LS engine/drivetrain. Any ideas on the most cost effective approach to take to rebuild the truck that way along with do/don't that others have ran into doing a 67-72 that way. I could naturally leave the truck as is or I have a number of BB GM engines or a BB LS7 engine that I could install with a 4 speed automatic. I'm debating on finishing the truck up as is and selling before dumping another large amount of money in it. Thanks in advance for any tips and words of encouragement. More pics to come.

I worked every groove in the floor of the bed and made sure if still had all the factory spot welds and seams just as the truck came and probably better once I was finished. Another change I forgot to mention earlier was the changeover from 6 to 5 lugs and front disc brakes. I used Sikkens paint and materials on the truck during the paint process. Bumpers were replaced but all moldings and trim are original to the truck and have been polished. Truck was completely disassembled for paint with exception of removing the cab from the frame. I've got more pics somewhere to show the complete paint process but will need to look further.

Nice truck from florida
