454 Oiling Issues/Valves?

My mid 70's 454 has issues with the amount of oil pumping through the push rods to oil the rocker arms! When running one push rods oil stream hits the inner fender, the others act normal except a few take their time the wet the rocker arms! Only one push rod, (not the shooter) spins while running, does that mean the rest of the push rods are to tight?

I would say that rocker is too loose on the pushrod that's spinning. That or maybe the litfter isn't pumping up all the way. Maybe there is some sludge built up in the others.

Ideally you want them all to spin. Do a running lash loosen one til ot smacks around then tighten till it don't and go a half turn more do this to all of them. Then pour in a bottle of marvel mystery oil and it will de gunk the engine and lifters. Change the oil after 500 miles

If you read how a flat rapper cam works and is built it makes sense. The cam lobe is actually not flat but angled to induce spin and the lifter bottom has a very precise radius as well. This is why flat tapper lifters cannot mix and match as each love and lifter makes its own relation to eachother
