traiblazer LS 2 and 4L80E troubles....
 

I have a 2007 LS 2 out of a trailblazer backed to a 4L80E.....I am using the trailblazer ECM with a custom Howell wire harness. So the harness was built for the 4L80E and trailblazer combo and was told HP Tuners could change a download and make the combo work with out any issues. Now this is my first LS swap so i have been learning on the fly........HP Tuners says basically that combo wasn't a offered factory combo so ......they don't do that.

Now i have a buddy who is working on it and he says he thinks it can be done...as in someone will have a download for it. Short of that he says it can be done using relays....So if anyone has any great ideas please feel free to let me know

I'm not terribly familiar with HPTuners, but with EFI live, I've always just done a segment swap to make an 80E work on an engine that never had one.

Is that not possible with the LS2, or with HPT?

Well I am not that up on HPT either so i have a friend doing it.....and apparently it's not that easy. But i was told that EFI Live wasn't able to do that, So that might be something i have to look at ...thanks.
