69 GMC 12 Bolt
 

I've got a 69 GMC C15 with a 12 bolt rearend what is the best option for making it posi? It is used mainly for cruising but I plan to take it to the drag strip occasionally. Thank you for your input.

Eaton unit....you did not state the gear, but hear goes....2.73-3.42 (3 series carrier) . 3.73, & slower gears(4.10,4.56, ect), 4 series on the carrier. :chevy: crazyL

X2 on eaton. I put a trutrac in mine with 4.10's. you dont know its there until its smokey burnout time or when the roads are wet.

Found a Detroit EZ locker for sale for $100 would that be a good option or should I buy a new Trutrac?
