how many off you guys have shaved tailgates? i wanna see some pics. im finally shaving my 75 duallys tailgate.. anyone have pics? if you ones that are duallys thatd be great

and i have a question guys when you shave yours do you have to cut the old skin off or weld it over the original?

i like that color. when/if you shaved it did you use a skin and cut the old skin off and weld on the new?

I shaved mine, but just the handle...I don't care for a completely shaved tailgates

not my trucks, just a few pics i had..
the black and white isnt shaved, but you can add the blazer rear trim and move the handle inside which gives the rear a cool look.

Thanks and I just took a new piece of sheet metal over the original tailgate

i think im just gonna get a blazer band and just relocate the handle i think itll look clean

However, I do like the subtle look of the Blazer tailgate band.

yea im gonna keep it stock with a twist kinda look.. just itll be straight axled on 37"s with a cummins under the hood:metal:
