Re: front coil springs question

Hotchkis make a front lowering spring that is suppose to drop the front 4".

Cutting 2 complete coils is too much to allow for a proper front end alignment.
1-1/2 coils will get you approximately 3" of drop.

I highly suggest drop spindles and disc brakes.

I would guess that yes it will align because there is alot of room to shim the UCA on these trucks, but you have to remember your ball joints will be at a high angle and you'll be close to riding on the bumpstops. You won't be happy with the ride, trust me. I'd save some jack for 2.5" spindles and cut one coil.

I have no idea.
I don't know how Hotchkis get this 4" drop number.
I've cut stock springs to achieve a 4" drop,... and when you jack up the front,... the spring will fall over in the spring pocket.
I still say a 3" drop spring is the MAX.
(my opinion)

1 1/2 coil cut will give u 3" of drop, the 205 will not fill up you wheel well like the 235.
