Static Dropped Suburbans

Been thinking about picking up a 1/2 ton Sub and dropping it. Looking for some inspiration. If you got any pics of a Suburban w/ a 5/7 or similar, feel free to post 'em up.

Here is my 1987 chevy suburban picked up for 600 as it sits. it has coils and spindles up front and the tweaker used a dropped shackle and deleafed the rear. so its 5 up front and 4ish in the rear i hate those wheels

Yeah, I know of that thread. It's pretty Blazer-heavy and most of the Subs are stock height.

That's pretty sweet. Wonder why I've never seen him around town. I'm usually hyper-aware of other local squares.

Re: Static Dropped Suburbans

LOL Yeah he don't take it out too often unless its just running around town with gas prices and all. In the next few days or so I will get a good pic of it with my phone from the side for a good bumper to bumper shot. I believe it is a 91 the last year of that body style. On vacation next week and we plan on going to the local pick and pull yards up here in Hesperia and Adelanto and see whats decent to salvage for my 74 and the wifes 77. And of course have a few cold ones LOL. I saw your Burban a month or so ago at a gas station and if I was not in a hurry to get to work I was gonna pull up and say hello. Well I will post the better pic when I get one. Later...

Hey Jabes. Yeah both up here as well. Yeah maybe see ya around town one day. You drive your truck alot around town?

Jabes1 05-22-2013 01:43 PM

Re: Static Dropped Suburbans

I drive it, but not a lot. I'm still working on my fuel injections tune. You might see my girlfriend and I running around in it, but were live tuning at the moment on the laptop. I've put about 1k miles on it since I made the switch to TPI. Runs good, but its not perfect yet. Ill keep a lookout for your truck! I usually wave to other squares on the road, but nobody ever waves back... guess its a Subaru thing.

Looks like we need to have an HD meet one of these days.

If you guys want, PM me your FB info. It'd be nice to have a couple of local Square guys when we need a hand with something.
