i got water leaking though!
water is somehow getting into my truck. right behind my seat in the corner on the drivers side. an area about a foot long. its getting the carpet and everything else in the area back there all wet. i have no clue where it could be coming from.
its right near the area where the stock 4x10's would be mounted |
hmmm... i know on my old 85 i had the cab corners were shot in it and a rainy day itd go right up in behind the back seats... made it cold in the winter haha my guess would be the seal on the rear window

Eric look under the cab for the holes that should be plugged. They're right behind the seat near where the rise towards the rear of the cab starts inside. These are for like coax cables for cb's, light wiring etc. You may have had one that popped out and letting water in when you splash up water as you drive. With your truck sitting low as it does I bet this is it.

eric does it do it only when it rains? or what? if only when it rains. could be rear window leaking.
|
It might also be leaking around the cargo lamp, if there is one. The seals for it are cheap at the dealer.

i broke a screwoff that holds the cargo lamp on, its broken off in the mouting hole where the cargo lamp goes, so for now until i can get it smoothed(or 3rd brake lighted) its held on by clear packing tape. and no, the electric wires arent there anymore. so no electric shocking of stuff. |

hahaha
its the rear window. its raining right now so i went out to check and in the corner of the window, there is a little puddle of water, and then its running down the back of the cab and dripping onto the carpet and cab corner area. guess i get my 1 peice window sooner than i though:cool: and with that one piece window comes my new tint:cool: |
it still could be the cargo light, could be running down and just pooling at the window. fix the cargo light anyway. lol. i can only imagine your truck with clear packing tape holding something on.. LMAO!
