1968 12 Bolt Posi Unit with 3:73 Gears
 

I have the Posi unit and 3:73 gears out of a 1968 12 bolt rear end. The rear end I took this out of was not in a truck when I got it and I do not know much about this other than what it looks like and the only issue I see it the u-bolts for the u-joint were cut off. I have not tried to remove them. If you have any questions please ask. The price is $300.00 plus shipping. I accept bank money orders or PayPal. I am sorry but try not to charge for the fee but with the price on this item I am going to need extra to cover the PayPal fees if you pay that way. Post to the thread as per rules.

DKOOI has first chance on this item and V62GO is second in line. If both of these members pass then the first "I will take it" gets it.

Looks to be spoken for, but Ill get in line too. Just to be clear....Will this unit be a direct bolt up(I would have a rear end guy do the work)to my '71 12 bolt non posi with no extra parts to buy?

You are fifth. As far as I know it would be the same for a 71 but you would probably need seals, crush sleeve, shims, ect. I think they usually have that stuff in an installation kit. Thanks
