For Sale Tuff Country 4" Rear Leaf Springs ...

I have a pair of used Tuff Country E-Z Ride 4" lift, rear leaf springs for sale. Very low mileage on these, maybe 600 miles. Summit wants $550.00 shipped. I'll let them go for 350. plus the ride.

Thanks.

Are the springs #19470 and how much would shipping be? I can buy a set locally for 407.96 plus tax @ Suspension Connection. If you can do better than 435.00 shipped I may be interested.LMK
Thanks, Paul

Re: For Sale Tuff Country 4" Rear Leaf Springs ...

No .... these are 19670 springs. They provide a true 4" lift to 69-72 trucks and a 6" lift for 73 and up trucks.

Thanks for ruining my sale also .... :cuss:

It's a violation of Forum rules to make negative and/or destructive comments about the pricing of a seller's items. If you can "get something cheaper", or don't like a seller's pricing, you are supposed to keep that type of comment to yourself, and out of my sales Thread. Dope.

I did not think I was making negative or destructive comments. I was inquiring about the model number and if the shipping was around $85.00 I would be interested. If you find my post so negative ask a moderator to delete my posts. Don't worry about me replying to any of your threads in the future!

I have reported this violation of Forum rules to Administration, and awaiting removal of inappropriate comments from blueK5.

My items are still available at the excellent price posted above.

Thank you,

I highlighted the exact price comparison you failed to mention in your second reply. If you can buy these locally from the manufacturer I think It's a no-brainer. These things are heavy and shipping costs money...more per pound and distance. For him to pay any amount over $85 for shipping means taking less than his asking price. He's offering these for $350 + whatever it costs to ship to wherever the buyer is located. I buy from them and I'm all the way in Maryland, but a company like that can ship for a fraction of what us regular guys can and there is no source near me.

I am not that far from you,72longbed,so I want to ask about why you are selling. Or mostly I was wondering this...I have changed direction on my '72 K2500 and want to go 4" instead of 6". If you're selling these because you are thinking the opposite maybe we should talk. Just a hunch, and I have the EZ-Lift springs. Otherwise,I should consider outright buying them. Just brainstorming on my change of direction

Re: For Sale Tuff Country 4" Rear Leaf Springs ...

Specal-k,
Thank you for a number of reasons. Obviously 'newbies' don't realize the expense that a regular guy like me incurs to have 150 lbs of springs shipped to him from Utah. That's on top of having to pay what I paid for them new. There were no deals like that when I shoveled out nearly $600.00 bucks for these springs.

On top of all that ... it is dis-courteous and against Forum rules to "challenge, compare, or otherwise detract from a sellers priceing." If he doesn't like my price ... shut up and move-on. That's where I come from. I don't do that crap to other members.

I'm selling these because I'm going back to near stock height. They are in excellent shape, and I'm even considering wire wheeling them and coating with a Rustoleum (Black) Rust Preventer for you if you are seriously interested. That's because you have always been one of the "good guys" on this site.

We can work out the logistics of getting them to you cheap.

Thanks for your help Special-K.

i'm a fairly newbie and its just common sense not to do that. if he wants to low ball you thats one thing. but why advertise? very uncool... to say the least.

question for you. how was the ride with the 4" lift? Basically, how E-Z Ride is it?

On another note on his behalf he did price a different part number than what you are actually selling. Still better to keep some stuff out of a guys thread...

Re: For Sale Tuff Country 4" Rear Leaf Springs ...

The Tuff Country E-Z Ride springs are known for being the softest riding aftermarket spring out there. They still maintain at least the manufacturers weight capacity rating while giving a very nice ride.

To further illustrate my point, the next pair of springs for my truck will also be the E-Z Ride springs.

You can verify my opinion with other members who have owned various manufacturers springs ... all will agree, the Tuff Country is the best ride. They designed them to ride that way.

Can the EZ ride springs still handle a good amount of weight? Would like to buy them, just don't want to lose alot of weight capacity. Thanks

72longbed 12-14-2012 12:55 AM

Re: For Sale Tuff Country 4" Rear Leaf Springs ...

I would rate them up to 3/4 ton weight capacity, with a smoother ride than 3/4 ton stock springs.

Let me know.

Thanks.

Re: For Sale Tuff Country 4" Rear Leaf Springs ...

On the weight question. I can tell you that I have had 3/4 ton of materials / firewood in the back of my truck with those springs on there, and because of the high spring arc and capacity of the # 19670's, it carried the load well.

Very smooth with that much weight. 'Cadillac like'. ;)
