Cab Question

I am currently searching for a replacement cab for my Son's 79 C10.Will any cab from 73-87 interchange?I am planning on using the 79 front clip.Any help is appreciated.

Yes but you have to use the mounting hardware from the year of the frame, and for a 79 clip if you use a 81-87 cab you have to modify the hood hinges and cowl I believe, somebody chime in and correct me if I'm wrong. Hope this helps you.

Any cab will bolt onto the frame but 73 to 80 will be the least amount of work for you.
