Pro6Ten a/c compressor?
How are these new compressors doing? Anyone here have them installed already? If so, how is it? Im thinking about getting one and wanted to ask first before buying it. Also, what tools you need to get the a/c working well and recharging it? Im planning on putting R-12 in it. It's factory air. It already has new condenser, new drier, etc... Just need it to get vacuum and charged. I already have the R-12 robinair gauges. What else you need?

Best compressor to buy IMO. They are new, way more efficient, and the front seal won't leak like every single rebuilt A6 I have had. I was very happy with mine in my blue/white 72. It installs in the factory brackets with basic hand tools.

Luis- I sold that truck almost three years ago...no pic, sorry. Like I said though it bolts right in to the factory brackets, and if you paint it black and throw a Harrison sticker on it, you really need to do a double take to make sure it isn't factory. It looks very similar to the A6, just a way better upgrade.

I have one. Works good and looks stockish if painted black, which I did. I have had it for a summer and a half. If i recall correctly, the factory belt was almost to short but i did get it on. Mine was installed on a BBC 400 with factory brackets.
