Re: The Resurrection

thanks all, we are planning to give it a nice low hot rod wedge stance, satin black and retro pinstripe paint job and some 17inch torque thrust style rims. along with some modern updates such as disk brakes, power steering and we got a 350 motor with old school 3 speed. me and the girl and the kids are going to have some fun with it :)

:hi: and :welcoem: !!!!!

Good to see another fresh build going on, specially from someone that intends to photo document it. We do like us some pictures around here, I guess video too now ..... if you are so inclined.

As said above, if you cannot find it in the HOW TO section then there are plenty folk here that have no doubt been there and done it on these trucks.

Lucky you for being in Nevada, and so close to Arizona; tons of guys on this site from your area. (Oh and there is a location specific section on this board too!)

Congrats and Good Luck !! :metal:

Re: The Resurrection

Nothing like a shared project.

I have my wife right next to me and at times behind me with the stuff I get up to.

Our daughter is away at university doing radiography but loves the whole trucking scene and would have one in a heartbeat.
Our 17 year old son unfortunately is like his father with neither the inclination nor the aptitude for trucks n cars. He is happy on X box etc.

Enjoy every moment of your family project as it will be part of the fibre and glue of your family in years to come.

Love tour direction and plans with your truck.

Will be watching this one unfold.
