ddsmith 06-05-2003 03:32 PM

Yes Randy,
This is the one I went to Oregon to bring back.

ddsmith 06-05-2003 03:37 PM

So the pictures aren't showing up again. What gives. It worked earlier. Maybe the server is down that the photo host uses.

I see em. looks like a solid truck. I don't see any rust, nice.

griesel72 06-05-2003 04:53 PM

i think that you got one heck of a buy on that truck

bpmcgee 06-05-2003 04:53 PM

<sings>Talk about your mud flaps - my truck's got 'em! </sings>

Anyone else remember that song?

Brian

P.S. Nice truck!

72moneypit 06-05-2003 05:52 PM

This may seem like an oddball question, but are those wheels 16" or 16.5"?

ddsmith 06-05-2003 10:08 PM

They are 16" sporting LT 235-85's. I'm really glad I understand the 16.5" tires are a little pricey.

toms68cst 06-05-2003 10:49 PM

Very Nice! Is that the one you bought of Ebay?

72chevyLWB 06-05-2003 11:33 PM

What is that on the lower part of the box? on the lip? Other than that all I'd do is ditch the topper. Nice ride.

oldyeller 06-05-2003 11:38 PM

it looks like a aux gas tank, you see the filler just above it..

72shadetree 06-05-2003 11:50 PM

nice truck

ddsmith 06-06-2003 12:23 AM

Yes toms68cst I bought it on E-bay from a really good guy in Oregon. He met me at the airport at 2AM to save me time and get me on my cross country trip sooner. I am very fortunate to do well at feeling out people when it comes to vehicle auctions so far. Hopefully I won't need to buy any more in the near future. I would hate to wreck a good record. The bottom of the box has two aux tanks factory installed. Nothing like 54 gallons of gas on board.

breeh 06-06-2003 12:27 AM

bpmcgee, if I guess "Spinal Tap" do I win a prize? :D

nightmare 06-06-2003 09:32 AM

yes ddsmith, the 16.5's are a little pricey, mainly because they aren't made in large quantities. i just spent $65 each for a pair of 8.25 x 16.5's, and that was because the guy just wanted to get rid of them. most of what i found were running about $120 to $150 for them.

BigBlack68 06-06-2003 11:40 AM

i just got a set of 16.5 tires paid 135 a tire,33x12.5,right now looking for 16 inch 8 lug rims:bowtie:

Longhorn Man 06-06-2003 12:24 PM

ddsmith, no problem on the tip.
Ad for the truck, you sound happy about it. Is it everything you were expecting?
