That's a shame to see that wrecker body and rig scrapped. Oh wait, there's a 4wd Suburban in the foreground, too. What a shame x2

There has to be enough there for a crew cab conversion.

Body was pretty rusty.

Funny, i am pretty sure the owner called me on this rig a year or so ago when he bought it complete. He wanted quite a bit of money for every part i asked about so i passed...

It really is kinda sad when you think about it. They didn't make a HUGE number of any 67-72 trucks, and when you already consider the amount that are gone, well, this just makes it worse :(

What parts did you get from it? I was able to get the rear cross-member I needed and the glove box door. There was a few more parts I would've liked to get from it but I didn't have enough cash.

pull the body leave it just like it is and set it on a "g-machine" chassis with big billets and cruise it all around. i see a jalopy cruiser.

Go snatch the wheels off that marroon pickup back there....

and along with Tim my hat is off for the wrecker.

The Burb still has the tailgate hardware on it, and the fender emblem, and a hood hinge....it's not dead yet!

Glad you found the parts you needed. I got a few little A/C parts.

Yes, this yard crushes almost anything. They don't always crush right away and he will sell some parts to the right people.
