I sure like the first one. Why isn't it closer????????????????

Truck Hippy 06-06-2003 12:54 PM

I'm not trying to hurt this guys sale but somethings up with the cab. Its a 71' back with and the pass side door is a 72'. Not that big of a deal for that kinda money.:D

bpmcgee 06-06-2003 01:08 PM

Okay, I give up. How in the world can you tell it's a 72 door? I understand there's a difference in the inside panel but isn't the outside the same?

Brian

72' Has the little screw under the vent window. 67-71 doesn't. Look at the pictures, the one looking in through the drivers door, you can see that the pass. side is a 72 but the drivers side is a 71-back.

I swear, I learn something new every time I log into this board!

Now i can go back to bed!!!!!!!!!!!!

So the drivers door isn't a 72, is that all your saying. Its 31 years old, I'm a bit older and have some different parts on me now too. ;)

Truck Hippy 06-06-2003 05:13 PM

What i'm saying is that if the truck has low miles, its had a rough life for the parts to be mixed. I am just pointing out some things that i see about the truck that some board members that are interested in buying the truck may not catch.

teeitup 06-06-2003 05:23 PM

I understand what your saying, I was just thinking its not a big money rig so usually something is not original. You can't find them like that around here for under $3000, they aren't to many 4x4's around here that aren't already fixed up. Sorry if I offended you. Randy

Truck Hippy 06-06-2003 08:04 PM

Not offended at all.
