WTB: Off-White 72 Steering Wheel and center Cap
 

Not sure if one is in existence, but looking for a near perfect or NOS Off-white Steering wheel and cap.

Not sure by my truck with all off white interior came with a black wheel. Off white sure would be nice thought.

My truck with off white door panels etc had a saddlewood wheel and dash, never heard of a white wheel.

I looked for a gold one for a LONG time. Gold is the GMC equivalent to Parchment (I think) .. but man, they are tough to find. I went with a black 3 spoke Comfort Grip wheel in mine.

Hence the opening statement - existence... I have the aftermarket chrome/wood trim type. It's nice, but needed to confirm my suspicions. Hey it’s the holiday season, things are slow and the mind wonders... OK, I'll try for a saddle-colored (Sandlewood) one! I've seen those! Anyone!

Sandlewood was the color of steering wheel for Chevys and GMCs with Parchment interiors,unless they had tilt. Gold was a color on Chevys and GMCs that was between Parchment and Sandlewood.

I always thought Gold was a 69-only color,like the Maroon and Navy Blue,but apparently some '70s,too. Sandalwood & Blue wheels were some of the first to go bad,like rot out,not just crack. Black seemed to survive the best (Plus Vans still used them another 5 years). Original steering wheels in crack-free condition are a rare find these days.
