TREMEC tko 500 swap on a 86 sierra
 

Hi guys im a newbie here ive heard alot about the site so i decided to join

my issue is i have a tremec tko 500 5 speed trans and i am swapping it into my automatic 86
my question is will the pedal and clutch linkage work from a late 70s early 80s truck?

my trans has a manual clutch and the shifter is already in the right spot just need info on clutch limkage

unless your truck was originally a manual or 4x4 you may need to swap the hump in the floor im not sure if its all manuals that wont fit but i had to cut a floor section from a 4x4 truck with a bolt in trans cover to get my t56 to fit in the doghouse... something to look into, im sure those who know more about that tranny will chime in shortly.

Have you looked into hydro clutch setup yet? Late 80s to 91 trucks and burbs have them
