Cab Question

Alright so I'm fairly new to the 67-72 world had a few 73-87 trucks and have some of them now that are projects. But anyway my buddy just bought a lot of 67-72 stuff and he has an extra cab that seems to be in decent shape, its fairly solid from what i can see other than one place, which is above the windshield. I can get the cab for pretty much nothing, but is it worth it to get it and fix it or just look for a different cab? I found this which is what i would need from classic industries, but has anyone used this before? I just want to know if it would be worth it too get and use it or just let it go and find a better cab.
Here is the panel i was talking about

I guess lmc sells one too, but its a little more.
