Re: Does your truck have a name?
My '69 was "Daisy" due to the yellow with white top.
My '66 is "Ginger" also due to color. My Corvette is "Marceline" taken from the Adventure Time cartoon, color and personality match her character. <edit> My daughter came up with the names. She was 7 when I bought the '69, she was 10 when I bought my '66, she is now 12 and thinks she gets the Vette in 4 more years. |

We refer to my truck as the HatredCopter, after the DethKlok song of the same name.

The older lady I bought my GMC from called the truck "Frank" after her late husband. I asked her why and she said he was tuff and always ready to go.
I'm not exactly sure how she meant that but the name stuck with us my wife always refers to the truck as "Frank" and never mind what I say. This was a time I just had to accept the fact that that his name is "Frank"...Vernski:lol: |

Re: Does your truck have a name?
Ours it named Beauty, or referred to as "the racer". The original owner family named her "Old Yeller". After she was repainted gloss black she was renamed Diane or "Princess" because she was spoiled rotten and treated like a princess. My wife is in charge of naming our vehicles. :)

My kids call our '66 'Mater' after the truck in the Disney Car's movie. They thought the GMC V6 emblem looked pretty similar to the logo from the movie:

Re: Does your truck have a name?
My 70 cst10 was named "Ol' Betsy" by my kids, and my "66 c10 was named "Fred" by my husband after Fred G. Sanford. ( He's not a gear head like me, and I didn't have the heart to tell him that Freds red truck was a 51 Ford...) :-)
