Good GMC factory exhaust pic?
 

Does anyone have a factory correct exhaust pic from the 305 V6's?
I'm getting mine redone and want to stay as true to orig as possible, aside from going with 3" pipes instead of 1 1/2 or whatever they came with.

I'm needing the routing and an exit view to show the pipe benders.

If no one else gets back to you by the weekend, I can take as many pics as you need. As far as I know mine is original (aside from the pop can/hose clamp temporary patch).

Thanks CM! 4x4 is exactly what I'm needing. I should have put that in the first post, but I didn't even think about it being different than 4x2.

Check 6066gmcguy.org. I think there is some dealer ads on there that show the OG routing.

FetchMeAPepsi, I am so sorry, I didn't even set foot in the garage this past weekend! I am going out to the garage right now to take them. Please disregard the clutter too... I have 10 pounds of stuff in a 5 pound box.

Good pics. On 2wd models, the exhaust runs through the center of the trans crossmember then goes back to the driver side.

Thanks Chevy Man! That's exactly what I needed. This will make routing so much easier for the pipe bender who has never seen a 305v6 before. :D
