Sanderson BBC headers
Is anyone running the Sanderson 67-87 bbc headers? I was just wondering how they fit and if they leak bad. The ad says no gaskets are to be used. Just curious if anyone has any input. Thanks

Re: Sanderson BBC headers
Someone has to have these! I will buy a set soon just to see how they fit if no one has ran them...

Re: Sanderson BBC headers
I remember a few years ago someone posted a thread with pictures saying they had purchased Sanderson Long Tube Headers from ECE and said they went on with no problems. As you said, it would be nice to hear from someone that has put some miles on them.

Im about two weeks from starting my 540 up. They look good, but a tight fit on passenger side. If nobody responds before then I'll comeback with an update.

I'm also interested... Will be running a 402 in my 67, would like to find a header that clears and don't need to mod the frame to fit

Re: Sanderson BBC headers
I have a set of BB3, I see no clearance issues, but Im also running a 6 speed, so the linkage is no were near

Re: Sanderson BBC headers
I have them on my truck. It is a 4x4, fit is good. We trimmed a bit on the right side, at the back side. Just to be safe. The factory clutch linkage did not work though. Just make sure you have the right plug wire boot's, so they don't touch the headers. And a good thick bead of silicone on flanges will give no leaks.

I have them on 2 of my trucks. I have never had a problem with them. They are close to the frame on passengers side but I did not have to trim anywhere.
